Schaetzend Kennel Reg'd (German: pronounced 'shot zend" meaning "To Cherish") Hello! My name is Denise Knight and I got my first berner in 1997. I started this kennel in 2000. I looked for a name that reflected how I felt about my dogs. The word Schaetzend is German and means "To Cherish". I have had many dogs and each one, I hope felt CHERISHED. This is a very special breed of dogs with a love for people beyond mere words. Keeper does it! He takes a Group 1 in the N. A.C.A. show---the third largest outdoor show in Canada! What a thrill for us both! More info will be available on his page soon! This along with four Best of Breeds, and two pulls in the group ring to top off an outstanding weekend. Keep checking back to see what he is up to now.
